I also worked at both Crescent and Cluny Farms, facilitating psycho-social programmes with people living with mental disabilities. I co-facilitated conflict resolution and anger management psycho-social programmes at the Leeuwkop Correctional Services for inmates. I have done work at the Midrand Police Station’s Victim Empowerment Unit where I provided debriefing sessions for victims of crime.I practiced as a student counselor offering free counselling to students. I worked as a Student Advisor at Midrand Graduate Institute for three and half years giving career counselling and student support service. I then went on to work the Department of Higher Education and Training’s national Career Development Services as an Assistant Director-Project Specialist and Career Advisor. I am a certified Level 1 Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT) practitioner and a certified 16 PF Personality Test practitioner. My other qualifications include a Master’s degree in Political Studies with a focus on Human rights and Development (2017) and a second Master’s Degree in Social Development (2019) both from the University of the Witwatersrand. I am passionate about social justice and seeing people heal and living their best lives I hold a firm belief that the psychological well-being of an individual is the cornerstone of a healthy community.
